Help with school fees

My husband has just left me and our daughter and I am going through the process of claiming for benefits etc.
my daughter goes to pre school and in Jan her funding will start, however I beleive they only fund for 11 weeks of every term and some terms are longer depending on the school which would mean I would have to pay top up fees of around £25 per week for maybe 2 or 3 weeks.
Does anyone know if I would get any help with paying for these as thats a big chunk out of my income support. I dont want to not send her for the extra weeks as I have been told they wont be able to guarantee her place - basically I am in a catch 22 situation.
Any advice would be gratefully recieved
Many thanks

Without more info there isnt a lot to go on. If you work you may be entitled to the childcare element of tax credits...
On a side note, id check the t&c's of the education vouchers, a local nursery got threatened with their voucher status being removed if they attached conditions to the childcare vouchers (ie must pay for the extra weeks in the term, or extra sessions each week) - although I dont know the exact rules.0 -
By pre-school i take it you mean a private nursery that doesn't close in school holidays?
Couldn't your ex help out with fees for those weeks.
Are there no nurseries attached to schools to go to instead?0
