Redundancy payments and shift allowance

I have received a letter today ready for my 2nd consultation meeting tomorrow. It states my annual salary which includes a shift allowance but they have calculated my redundancy payment without the shift allowance, which will make a difference of £750. We have access to a company severance ready reckoner and when putting in the details it tells you to to write your gross annual pay including any shift premiums, thats how I know about the difference. As I have never been in this situation before, am I right to include the shift allowance in my calculations?
I am off work today so I phoned in to query it. As we are getting a 20% attendance bonus the person I spoke to thought I was including that but I wasn't as that bonus is worth nearly £3000 to me not £750.

If your pay is the same, week by week, it's the gross pay shown on your payslip.

If your pay varies then it should be average gross pay received in the 12 weeks before the date of dismissal.
