Has anyone ever heard of Tern Consultancy mystery shopping. They say in their privacy terms they may need to share your address with other mystery shoppers to enable them to execute their work effectively. Does this sound right to anyone?0

Yes they're a very legitimate company.
They may share your address if they need to give a fake address for a visit however it's good practice to be told first.0 -
Thanks nads.
No one can put anything against my address though can they? I don't want it put on a system somewhere then they try to contact someone at my address.0 -
Thanks for your replies. I'll hope they're fine with it then - it was March 6 that I did the shop. Just done another one - by far the best of the three (in terms of customer service). The more I do the more I realise how rubbish the first one was...0

I did some work for them and had to buy something that requires you to leave your name and address at the store, then send the item to Tern.
Sometime later, I got a broken item that another shopper had bought and their receipt and details. I had to take it a local store and say my *insert appropriate relative* was staying and had broken it, and could they repair it.
I guess the clause is to cover that scenario.
They've also supplied my details to other shoppers when I've needed to meet up with them to hand over video equipment. Here I go again on my own....0 -
