Can I get some advice on the gap pizza delivery jobs. I rang up the branch and they told me to ring another number as they are the ones who delivery to my area :s

Is that correct? I think I'm going to have to release the job.

if you go to the pizza website and put in your postcode it will tell you which branch will deliver to you. If its not the branch on the assignment, you will have to release.

Evening all. I know somewhere along the lines this has been discussed but I'm too lazy to scroll back to find it (sorry!!). Got a stamp job on tomorrow (DVLA). Can I just double check that I have to apply for someone else - was going to do hubby. Why aren't they supposed to accept it? Actually got a phone number to call GAP if they do!!!!
  • Mine was for myself and they would not take birth cert as ID - as for applying on behalf of husband they should not accept it as he would have to be the one that applies ;)
But there is 2 scenarios for this client so have another read of your notes to double check!
Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151
    GC Yearly £3k so far £1097 May£220/£300
    £1k in 100 days so far - £235 :p
Snowball debt free calculator says DEC 09 - lets hope we can do it!

Thanks PL. I need to take the form in and ask them to check it and send it off. Need to take passport of person I am lodging it for. That's probably why they won't accept it then. I'll do it in DH's name. Thanks again x

Ellie they should not accept it - you will see when you input the answers, the 'premium service' where they check it is only applicable if you are there in person. Mine went ok, I cursed DS for being so lazy & said I would send him in :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Stupid question - On RE are you able to view hotel deals outside your specified area?

    I would say YES.

When the Hotel jobs are posted I see the one from Edinburgh down to Devon.

    TIP

With RE add several areas to "My Defined areas" and increase the drop down box of miles to 50.

Give a wide coverage and catches stuff that RE incorrectly post.

I actually nearly bought it there and then!

Seriously, it took the wind right out of my sails. I just didn't know what to say after that. Apparently, they were desperate to hit month end target.

I did my first car showroom job today and it was like getting blood out of a stone!! No non-cash offers whatsoever, and he was knocking the price down in £15 increments!! Got a reasonable price in the end, but it took some doing.

I have to say that if I ever go to buy a new car in the real world, my bartering skills will be very finely honed :T

  • How long does it take to get paid by GAP? Is it really end of following month?
