I'd think yourself lucky that the Airline hasn't banned you from ever travelling with them again. I would've.

Thanks guys - I've only been nil by mouth since 8am and I'm starving already. Oh well at least I may lose some weight ready for those burger jobs lol x

With all due respect you're not in a position to even say anything along those lines. He was happy to carry out the visit but couldn't due to illness. Simple as.

Did it cost BARE\The airline? No! It was just a number. That flight was going to leave the UK irrelevant of skywalker being on it or not.

This is an internet forum, I'll say what i want.

It didn't "cost" the airline per se, but they could've, potentially sold that ticket (fair enough, they might've still sold it, like i said, if they made it available again on their systems in time).

Hence the reason RE think it is OK to pay no fee and get a long report. Doesn't even cover the reimbursement. Better going to a supermarket and buy a pizza for £2. Stick it in the oven and bang enjoy it and no tedious report to do.

If you dont like the jobs, dont do them! Simple, dont you think?

Look at it this way.

You go out for a meal, you can take someone with as I often have on the pizza jobs for Gap. You get a nice meal, you have a good time out.
The bill arrives and you KNOW for a fact that what ever it says there, you are getting X amount off.

When I went out on that particular job, I only paid £6 out of my own pocket, for a 2 course meal for 2 people + drinks. I was quite pleased with that, because not even the staff get a good discount like that!
