Some people have phoned and got clients added, I have always dealt with them by email, and they've usually replied promptly...

Are GFK playing the let's screw our MS'ers game too now. I have just got offered a visit. It is an organisation which has an English and a Scottish branch, Kind of heritage, gardens etc.

It is something to do with yon Rabbie Burns person. Entrance is £5 each, Then you have to buy something in the snack bar, something in the souvenir shop. It is about 50 miles away in darkest Ayrshire so petrol would be say £10. I tot that up at around £25. So you would be around £5 out of pocket.

As the bold Rabbie himself said "Oh would some power the giftie gie us tae see oorsells as other see us"

Tempted to email them an in Burns speek ask them "Dae youse think ma heid buttons up the back"

Might suit Timmne HRW who is a bit more cultured than me.

I must admit I picked up a lot of work on this contract with GFK over past 3 weeks after doing some jobs on the trial runs and it has been fantastic - the pay rates for the local attractions up north have been great - I got £50 for one visit which involved £20 total spend and an hour walking around outside in the blazing sunshine with a Tour guide - over 140 sites in Scotland too so I think summer will be pretty busy this year! Its also quite cool building up a collection of Official guide books - it makes me look well travelled.

April is always funny, its musical contracts and seeing what re-appears where and how the money has changed. Been a few odd surprises this month for sure - R Eyes, GRG and ABA-i seem to be the companies to stick with just now for best range of clients despite the R Eyes wordy reports. TNS arent doing so well just now by looks of it for variety.

Also, have you noticed, The Blue supermarket pay rates have changes for Metro stores ....

I know a solution. Get our Nads aka ScouserIT. Get him to sort their website and do our proofreading and redesign our questionnaires. I am sure they will pay him well for it.

Aye and looking out my window there are pigs flying past.:rotfl:

How long does it take ABAI to pay up?

I did two jobs for them a week last Saturday, not heard anything from them, so i assume the reports are satisfactory etc, but when do I get paid?

Is it also true that they simply send you cash through the post as payment? Must be v.dodgy.

Cash in post and usually up to 4 weeks wait as they pay at the end of the job wave not as soon as you have done the job. Soonest I ever had any was 3 weeks after a job.

They take up to 3 weeks to pay, and yes they do send cash, with a letter thanking you for doing the job. If you've done 2 jobs, you'll get 2 letters!
