    Hi Andy,

Could you please remove names and fees from your post as it infringes the T&Cs of the MS company.

Hi Johnny and thank you for replying.

Why can't I post this? It is public information that the company have made available on their own website, which is linked from the first page of this thread.

I am already registered as SE, I was wondering how you deal with the vouchers. Do you just class £10 voucher as £10 of income? Returning the item seems a lot of hassle too - more so than getting a reimbursement and payment in cash like the other companies do.

Today I have been greedy and did both a pizza shop and a chicken shop. Tomorrow I think I'll need to sign up to mystery shop Weight Watchers! :rotfl:

I was wondering if any of the MShoppers out there did any merchandising or auditing sort of work. I know a lot of the Ms companies also offer these services and I would love to get into this sort of work. I am registered with all the key MS companies just wondered if there are any recommendations anyone could offer (I'm in t'north!).

Big Thanks to everyone that helps on the forum. x

I've messed up and transposed a couple of figures in the bank account number I gave RE, now I know why I haven't received my first payment from them. That'll teach me to make sure that it's right for the next payment. I can't afford to keep working and pay my wages to someone else. Stupid girl that I am! Good job it was only one job that they paid me for this time.

In my other life I work in a bank...

Firstly did you get the sort code right? If so contact your bank and ask if the account number you quoted was valid or not - explain that a payment was sent in error. Chances are it will be invalid in which case the bank may (if you're quick) apply the payment to your account (my bank will search by name and see if we can find the right customer - most banks don't bother to do this). Otherwise it will go back to RE so let them know and hopefully they'll send it again for you.

    Thanks Andy

Have emailed RE but will also ring my bank tomorrow. What's really annoying is, that in my "other life" I'm an accountant, DOH!!! I did however get the sort code right :rotfl:

What the MSing company says on its website and what we should be saying are two different things.

Besides Ts & Cs, it just makes us look a little unprofessional IMO and takes the mystery out of mystery shopping - which affects the amount of fees we get from companies in the long run.

Sorry, I still don't agree with you - it's hardly a secret because it's on a page that's linked from the first post in this thread, that anyone can view. However to keep everyone happy I have removed the amount of the voucher and changed the name of the shop.

    Hi all

Hope someone can give me some advice here...

I have been mystery shopping for years but stupidly never registered as self employed. I have never done a tax return.

Nowadays I am a lovely law abiding citizen! So i genuinly do want to do it all legally - but i'm worried I will have to declare when i started and then have a huge tax bill.

So, will i have to state WHEN i started doing work for the various MS companies? Or, if not, will the tax office approach the companies and ask them? I don't have records going back for years so i'm not sure what i would do if that happened.

I appreciate any help - thankyou in advance :j

Just wanted to apologise (before I get yelled at)... I posted on the alerts thread that RE was back up because I didn't see this post and thought people might consider that info worthy of being in the alerts thread. Oops! Don't all yell - having a bad day!

Nope. A perfect example of a useful "chatty post".

Not been able to post on here all afternoon from work, keeps saying my post must be more than 10 characters, couldn't thank people or anything.

Neither in IE nor Firefox (I always use IE at work cos of the other stuff I do, but use FF at home of course!).

So, thanks for the PM about the kitchen shops TG, none in my area when the site came backt o life though.

Off out now to do my first pub meal shop.
