In short,
Our house has a front porch, this use to be an old outhouse with a cupboard at a guess, then a door to get into the house.
Sometime ago the council put a door on the porch thing, and removed the wall. So now we have a PVC front door, then you enter the porch (2m x 2m), then turn right into the house. Here remains the old front door.
The old wooden front door has the wired glass it in, its not clear and has been broken by ourselves when we were locked out of the house, the inner front door still had the lock on it.
The door has top & bottom sections of glass, its broken and needs replacing. As the door does not go with the house anymore, we wanted it changing to a exterior / internal door. The frame footplate thing has a metal lip across it, & the frame is a little split where the old lock holder wa forced due to 'kicking it in'.
(The inner door closed with the wind, whilst our son who was about 6months in his car chair in the front room, as we were bringing the shopping in. So 1 or 2 kicks and we were in).
We imagine the frame may need replacing, as the door has a funny lip on the bottom, and were stuck on who to ring from the yellow page.
Do we need a joiner, or do we need a builder with joinery skills.?
We anticipate up too £300 for the work, £100 for the door, £100 in labour and £100 to maybe replace the frame & make good.
Advice please.?

Joiner is what you need. Your budget seems realistic.0

Some pictures..
Picture 1.
Looking from inside out, this is the old front door. Excuse the colour scheme, not got round to changing yet.
Picture 2.
Looking from the porch to the door.
