my lha rate is 196.15 for 2bedroom flat.
I pay 695 monthly.
I applyed for Lha but it takes about 3 weeks. So i still dont know how much I should get benefits and how long I can get LHA benefits?
I am out of work and receive child tah credit and JSA.
I hope, LHA will cover all my rent:rolleyes:

Your bedroom entitlement is 2 bedrooms for a total of 3 people.
my lha rate is 196.15 for 2bedroom flat. per week
can I get maximum if I am out of work?0 -
Your rent is £695 but you are questioning if you will get the full £850pm entitlement and pocket the £155 change for yourself?
Is this what you are asking?
If so, the answer is No, you will not pocket the £155 difference, although they do allow you to keep £15pw0 -

no, I want only 695, to pay rent0 -
If you are entitled to the full 196.15 then you will get all the rent paid upto a rent of 849 a month.
The problem you may have is that is sounds like you pay rent monthly yourself. LHA is paid in arrears and in 2 weekly amounts, so you will have to balance the cash flow yourself.
If your rent is 695 a month that is 160.38 a week. LHA will give you the equivalent of 175.38. They would pay 350.76 every two weeks and leave you sort out your monthly rent payments yourself.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm sure anything left over above the £15 will be deducted from JSA etc or any debt owed to the council.bam bam bammy Shore by The Revellers...do do de de do.0

Don't think so. It won't be paid out. Your maximum LHA is limitted to your rent plus £15, any extra that you would be entitled to if your rent was higher is not an entitlement and won't be paid out.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thanks for that. I wasn't sure about the JSA.
According to my LHA tenant, she has £14 week deducted from her LHA to pay a debt.
Extra money can and will be open to abuse. A friend was telling me about her cousin. One bedroom city centre flat he's renting out. Landlord and the tenant agreed, maximised the rent and sorted out the difference between one another.bam bam bammy Shore by The Revellers...do do de de do.0
