"For goodness sake, we're talking 18+ aka "grown-ups", not children "
Heheh if you met some of the students I'm studying with, you'd be surprised ROFL xD0 -
I cycle to uni every day and have done for the past two years. It's quicker (and considerable less smellier) than taking a bus.
Don't have any choice anyway. I don't have a rich mummy and daddy to bail me out when if I don't have the rent/bill money and I want to have a good degree from all this hard work so I am studying hard rather than working. (until the summer break that is)
I was really shocked at how many students at my uni drive in. Students even skip lectures/seminars because they "couldn't find a parking space".
People nowadays are so lazy xD Students are just part of the larger problem.
One guy on my course was telling me how he'd been out drinking the night before and was intending having one before he drove home and going out again at the weekend, then actually said he hadn't bought the course books for the entire year because he "couldn't afford to" :rotfl:0 -
I love cycling in Manchester to uni, its brilliant. Fortunately where I live now I don't have to travel down Wilmslow Road but in the past when I did, loved flying past all the buses and cars queuing. 10-15 min cycle compared to 30-40 mins on a bus? Thanks very much.0

It doesn't take 30-40 mins on the bus unless you are stupid enough to get on an empty bus at 8.30am.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
