Credit cards with decent limits

Is there a reason you applied for a capital one card sou816? when i applied for one i was given a credit limit of £1000 despite havin an income of over £30k per anum. Thank yourself lucky.

0% for 12 months would have meant i had a chance to get rid of 4000 debt within 12 months. tried to apply for egg yesterday but rejected probably because only just got halifax one card through. spoke to halifax and they said they cant look to increase the limit until after 6 months. so stuck until then with a pretty useless card!!!

may try lloyds as have a current account with them already. and have applied for all credit reports. just a wait and see i guess

Email egg to appeal against the decision; the problem they told me is that their instant decision maker can be overprecautious, but they arrange a little telephone grilling with you and may change their mind.

have rang egg and spoke to someone who said tough, so i hung up and called again have emailed my appeal stating im not on the electoral roll at my current address as im living in parent-in- laws holiday home and really only want 2 grand, so give us a chance!! will wait and see the reply. heres hoping
