I am overdue a Full Service...
I called Ford Garage and they quoted me £300 for a full KA Service...with a free cortacy car... (sorry im really bad at spelling)

Then i found this website:
http://www.ford-service.co.uk/
- they quoted me £161 for a full service...

is this website trusted?
anyone got any other ideas on what i should do?

THANKS

Get recommendations from locals for a non main dealer to do it. £300 seems far too much.

If still in warranty I might be tempted with main dealer. If not then find an independant.

If it's in warranty I think that it's ok as long as your local garage uses Ford part for any repair. Perhaps someone could confirm if this is correct? My local garage is a lot cheaper than a main dealer and gives excellent service.

No. If warranty repairs are needed you must take it to a Ford dealer to be repaired.

(You can get your car serviced anywhere, as long as sevice items used match Ford's parts quality)

If its not in warrantly take it to a locally recommended garage - they will still use Ford parts - its going to be cheaper labour.

Wow, that's a lot. By comparison Audi do full services for under £200, so Ford should not be doing anything near that.

You don't need to get your car serviced by Ford even if it is in warranty, and it will nearly always be cheaper not to!

Ford have a standard price list for services which all dealers should use - ask to see it !

Check out thread - Motoring Monopoly madness - that will tell you all you need to know about servicing under warranty. And no, you do not have to go to main dealer.

OP - you've missed a service, not the end of the world - find a good independent that will service it and do what it needs,
