Does anyone know which online/real life stores have stock and can deliver in 7-10 days?
Have looked at the likes of plumbworld (not good reviews online), plumb centre (no prices) and the millions of bathroom online shops (unknown delivery times etc).
Looking for a toilet, semi pedestal basin, shower enclosure with tray and a thermostatic mixer. Ideas please anyone?

Cheap/expensive/designer?
you can get some cheapo suites out of stock in the likes of B&Q. We're just about to order some stuff from bathmart.co.uk and they say if its in stock then it should be delivered within 7 working days.
What abuot the likes of bathstore? For such a short timescale I'd be tempted to try a local place.0 -
does it have to be online? you would probably get a better deal by using a local plumbers merchant/supplier and delivery likly to be faster too0

If you try Total Bathrooms (based in Bath, Somerset) they usually have a fair amount of stuff in stock (some of it is seconds) and will deliver pretty quickly if they have it. Their prices are usually OK as well.
Total Bathrooms
I've used them for stuff and found them very helpful to deal with - on one occasion we agreed to collect something from them (they are pretty close to us) thinking we would avoid a delivery charge, but when it came in they delivered it anyway free as we were local customers. If you can't see what you need on the website, give them a call, they know their stuff.
As for stock they are next door to the Roper Rhodes factory so they can certainly get stock from there quickly!Adventure before Dementia!0 -
Thats a good point, lots of stores by us are having clearouts and there are lots of ex-demo suites available for immediate delivery. Of course you dont get the same choice but can be a bargain0

You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0

go to plumbing trade supplies
www.ptsplumbing.co.uk
As a tradesman thats who i use day in day out and have very little troubles sourcing items, there bathroom packs offer good heavy weight bristan taps and a quality suite for a good price and is far superior to the junk B&Q sellHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Thanks all, there is a preference to an online shop as there isn't much time to take a day off and sort things out0

Hello
We've just ordered (today) a bathroom from:
http://www.toppsbathrooms.co.uk/
and it's meant to be being delivered next Tuesday, the 24th. But you can enter your postcode and see when the earliest delivery date is before you order which is quite handy!0 -
I have tried to get quick delivery of a bathroom from two separate online suppliers and failed both times. There were always complications caused by the company I bought them from not communicating effectively with the supplier and visa versa. I also had damaged side panels, which took a month to sort out.
So firstly it's difficult to judge when you will take delivery to start the job, secondly you may not be able to completely finish the job if you have damaged parts, or end up paying extra to source damaged items locally to finish the job.
There are some good on-line deals but I would much rather take collection myself from the store and inspect the items before accepting them, even if this means paying a little extra.
Even if you don't have a van, you should be able to fit a bathroom suite into your car if it's an average saloon.
Hope this helps.0
