BB (or other cookery experts) - I have this recipe that is gorgeous but I don't know how to actually cook it.

You chop rosemary very finely, and mix with olive oil, rub it all over a piece of cod, then wrap in smokey bacon and bung in oven.

But I have no idea how long for, or what temperature, and cos the fish is wrapped up, it's not easy to see if it's ready.

Any suggestions for time/temperature? I have never baked fish before so I've really no idea. :o

I'm just in the middle of getting everything ready for class.

Just noticed a bit of a school boy error in the list of ingredients for next week I'm going to ask them to bring. I want them to bring these

    savoiardi.jpg
    which are savoiardi

I've written ladies fingers which could be misconstrued as these

    Okra_What'sFresh_9-13-06.jpg

both are known as 'ladies fingers' - best I clarify it to them otherwise Tiramisu may never be the same again..........

    Aren't they 'sponge fingers' BB?

they are italian sponge fingers which are harder than the ones we use in the UK.

Snaggles - I would say 15-20 minutes at gas mark 5 for a medium/large sized piece of fish. Look for the bacon crisping up. Stretch the bacon out if you can. You can also pan fry with butter/olive oil, will take half the time. If after 15 minutes the bacon isn't crisping if baked, take it out of the oven and finish it off for a minute or so in a hot pan.
