I'm really glad you started the positive thinking thread today - it seems to be working, I've sorted out some annoying fiddly things that have been dragging on for ages at work today
Well I am glad that me giving myself a kick up the backside has helped someone else too:jBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

ok.........shows how my mind works............:rotfl:
They do have regional variations in what they sell though, so a northern one would have a few different err delicacies
I used to work in one - the smell of the shops still reminds me of having to make egg mayonnaise at 7am... bleurgh... :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

You are right there Bookie, even when I am still and quiet I still chunter on to myself in my head..............I would love to empty my head of all thoughts sometimes.
I have tried meditating before but I just cant seem to relaxBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I've never been in a Greggs...........I couldn't trust myself not to buy something realllllllllllly bad as I love pasties. I did think though when I went into town on Saturday how many pasty/pie/coffee shops seems to be taking over Poole High St!
I also always thought they only sold pasties....... I'm far too literal in my thinking........:o "Stay Wonky":D

I bin finking.
When I get motivated and positive (thanks SAmmy and Lou) I get things done down here and the day goes a lot faster then when I sit on my backside getting miserable.
However, on a quiet day, there is only so much I can do.
Can anone think of ways I could spend the quiet times doing something to bring in more income? You used to be able to stuff envelopes but machines do that now.

If your own kick up the backside was as good as the one you gave me then it should work a treat:D
Did I give you a kick up the backside........sorry Pepe I meant to just pinch it:p
I have also decided today that the only moaning I am going to do from now on is in the bedroom;)But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Do you have Gravy as well? Can't get any gravy in the chippies down south or decent mushy peas...:rotfl: :rotfl:
I was in Exeter services and we did have chips( bloomin awful ones they were too) served by a Polish chap who didn't understand what gravy was.. he kept saying GrabyI wish Peter Kay had been there...
When i said it was used to stop chips from drying up ( sarcastically)he looked at the chips and said they were already dry..and then wondered why i couldn't stop laughing.:rotfl: :rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0
