Removing grout residue on porcelain floor tiles

Options
Hi

Just had my kitchen floor tiled with porcelain tiles a couple of days ago and noticed that there is a white chalky powder left on the tiles in places, which i assume is the grout residue. Despite scrubbing and mopping like mad, this powder 'disappears' when wet but it reappears when the tiles dry out. Is there anyway to remove this white powder immediately or will it gradually disappear with repeated moppings?

Thanks :)

It should wipe off with a little soapy water and elbow grease.

You need to use elbow grease when you're doing it. The rough side of a scouring sponge will help as well.

I have just finishing doing the exact same thing. I found that a scouring sponge did the trick beautifully.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
