Hang on a sec, apart from Cleaver and the scots and welsh brigade does everybody else who frequents this forum live local to Crawley???

I'm about 8 miles or so in a north east (ish) direction:D

I use Crawley for shopping. Its closer than Bluewater.

Using back roads I can get there in under 15 mins.

I bet there are people who live in Crawley can't get there any quicker than that:D
  • I live near Crawley, and unfortunately used to work there too.

Crawley was once known as the Chav capital of britain, as far as the shops are concerned, yes its fairly dead now, anyone who says otherwise is a newbie to Crawley.

Woolworths, Whittards, Officers Club, Disney Store, Zavvi, Oddballs, the list is endless, there are plenty of empty shops. Debenhams isnt very busy and The Entertainer never seems open..

I am so tempted to make up some pathetic pun involving the local perv and children's entertainer known locally as Creepy Crawley.

    But its beneath me.

My DD goes back to London to go out sometimes.

I worry much less about her out in Crawley, than Camberwell:eek:
