hi Guys, once again thanks for such encouragement last night, I was able to have 3 hours sleep..which believe me is a record. I would have had more but the wife started snoring like a train .. no offence to trains!!
I sorta took your advice and decided to confront my darling about not supporting me in my hour of dire need. "You either side with the rest of the family and condemn me" I said "or support me.".. it didn't work.. she high tailed off with rest of the family to watch the rugby ... Brits 34 Froggies 10 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot etc ...' and left me looking after the doggies a couple of heinz 57 varities ( rescue dogs) they thoroughly enjoyed the attention.
Next, thought to myself where else can I go that I won't get condemed so I went off to church ... haven't darkened the doors of that establishment for sometime. It was one of those happy clappy affairs and the black preacher was really on fire.. Many hallelujahs and Amens could be heard resounding through building... trouble is the sermon went on too long and I was gasping for a pint...
Oh another thing .. I attending the funeral of my vehicle having its decals removed took me 4 hours ... it was sad to see them go and then I thought say if the car goes in the BR:eek: and I've done all that work.
Tomorrow is the big day, gathering my small staff around me and saying " Hey guys no job" sorry then dismantling the advertising stuff, facing the landlord... and I suppose the shame of not making it in the corporate world of owning a business.
I'm on an emotional roller coaster at the moment and keep saying crazy things then regretting it... it's the uncertainty that's driving me insane. Can't wait to phone the business debt people and hear their words of advice.
Another thing got a VAT inspection scheduled for Wednesday this was booked before I decided enough was enough ... that will be fun when they find no-one in and the door locked ... shall I tell em before that happens ... spose I better.....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What family are you talking about - wife and kids or wider family Brits 34 Froggies 10 'Swing Low Sweet Chariot etc ...' and left me looking after the doggies a couple of heinz 57 varities ( rescue dogs) they thoroughly enjoyed the attention. Dogs are lovely!

You will feel better once you speak to BDL. At least you'll know what options you have. Remember they don't know everything though - they told me the only reason the OR wouldn't take my house straightaway was because I had children under 16. That isn't strictly true so come back on here once you have their advice and tell us what they said - Good Luck!!!!

Hi TB
Sorry to hear that you are not getting the support from your family. But keep your chin up, you have decided what is the best thing to do and stick to it. You have to think about yourself if no one else currently is thinking about you. Do what is right for you! If your family and wife can't accept it just now then there is not much you can do about it for the moment, except concentrate on yourself and how you are coping, and then have a good long talk with Business Debtline, it will help.
I know it is not going to be an easy day for you tomorrow but best wishes. I think if you are honest and show that this is really a decision which is hurting you too, it should not be too much of an ordeal for you. I hope it all goes ok.
Best wishes
Donna

You know I had a morbid fear of dentists but plucked up courage a few weeks back to have a check up .. it wasn't that bad ... maybe BR's a bit like having your tooth extracted ..except it's your house instead and no injection to make the pain go away:eek:  :eek:0

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Yea it's humour that keeps me going I find humour keeps the wheels of bad managerial decisions going ( well it must have in my case!):rotfl: :rotfl:0

Time for them to stand on their own two feet and pay their own way perhaps? or maybe they need a bit more life experience to realise how hard this is for you?
You are not ruining everyone's life, you are taking a positive step in trying to sort the situation out instead of burying your head in the sand, promising them that everything is ok and will be ok whilst you bear the whole burden on your back.
It is not fair to place the blame solely on your shoulders - I am sure your family have had much benefit from your hard work over the years, time for them to pay it back to you with loving support!
Virtual pint perhaps?

Sounds like you need an anaesthetic to drown out the snoring!
I bet you lie back admiring her beautiful face and suddenly there is the deafening roar that summons all elephants within 5 miles of your locality.
My sleeplessness is not helped by my bizarre recurring dream that wakes me up - are you ready for this - it is a corker!
It is Brian Blessed singing at full volume "I am what I am".
Yes, I know I probably need therapy or something.0 -
I'll take my wife any day ..Brian Blessed hell NO! . Hey you are right a tonic is what I need perhaps with a pint of Gin thrown in for good measure .. no sod it make it two good measures :T0
