Valencia Spain!

Hi Folks

Anyone know of any good cheap accommodation in the middle of Valencia city?

Also interested in renting for a short period 2-3 months.

Any help appreciated.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn Valencia which is good, and also The Turia, grand old place very reasonable rates, and very central.
It's a lovely city to explore.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
  • Home backpackers hostel is great. they have two locations in valencia, one is more backpacker with dorms however does have some twin rooms - good location for going out and has a roof terrace which is great in the evenings. you will meet loads of people - I stayed for a week last june.

the second loction is more B&B style but I think it was still not too expensive.

If you want to stay for a while there is a lot of flat shares as has a University, walk down towards the Uni and on Lamposts there are tons of flat shares advertised.

  • I stayed in a hostel over there too...think it was the back packers one and it had single rooms, was very cheap and friendly. Mine also had a kitchen where you could cook meals.

Youth Hostelling is the cheapest way....

  • Stayed in the Hotel Ibis, Placo de Congressos last year for the Moto GP. Not the very cheapest, but very clean. A bit on the outskirts, but near a Metro, and cabs are ridiculously cheap.
  • Many thanks for all the tips!

I think one of the hostels is called La Rinqon, or something like that. Its dirt cheap and right in the centre. Worth checking. Also as someone has already suggested, try the halls of residence. My sister lived there for 2 years, and when I visited she managed to get me into the halls of residence for a month, but its generally during uni holiday times

We stayed there too. Very convenient for the Metro, as you say, and had no complaints at all about the hotel. Even the breakfast buffet was good.
