I agree with some of the other comments, if your house is old then you should really respect the design and replace with wooden frames. We have a 30's semi and when we moved in we had to replace the downstairs bow window. It wasn't cheap as we couldn't get one off the shelf but it looks amazing (stained not painted). We are having an extension later this year and we will be fitting new wooden frames throughout the house. We will probably go with Jeld-Wen windows which are available everywhere (Travis Perkins, Buildbase etc) but i will look at the nordan link from adr0ck0

I looked at Jeld-Wen and the option of fitting them myself, but it actually worked out more expensive then getting someone in to supply and fit. The Jeld-Wen windows were a lot lower spec as well.0 -
And what about recommended PVCU supply and fit firms????0
