Paraquet flooring help with glue removal

have been laying a paraquet floor however some adhesive has got onto the flooring which you walk on and is black tacky. whats the best way to remove it without damaging new floor

    You may get it off with a rag and white spirit.If you have any tiles left over try a test piece first.If they are pre-finished the white spirit shouldn't have any effect.If theyre not pre-finished why not sand off?...Im not a floor layer, im a joiner but white spirit doesn't tend to do much harm in general...
