Cleaning car interior

Hey guys,
Does anyone have any idea what my OH can clean the interior of his car with (i.e the dashboard and other plastic bits) that doesn't mean spending a fortune on the special stuff? We had some of the dashboard wipes but they've dried out
We have various household cleaning stuff (washing up liquid, cillit bang, bathroom cleaner, bleach etc) but don't want to damage anything.
Any ideas? What do you guys use?
TIA

I sometimes just use the window cleaner on a cloth..
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -
A microfibre cloth slightly damp does the trick every time,,and after uve cleaned it a new air freshener:) just to complete the job0

when i had my alfa romeo it had an anti-dazzle dash, was recommended to use natural soap flakes0

i always use scented baby wipes to clean inside my car- they're pretty cheap, clean well, can't do any harm as they're gentle enough for babys skin and they smell really, really lovely0

Another vote for baby wipes here. Cheap and do a brilliant job.0

My OH and I own a used car garage...and all we ever use is a hoover, and Asda smart price facial wipes, and glass wipes. The Asda wipes are only about 49p a pack, you can use the same one to clean marks off the fabric seats as well as the dashboard. (They also take every stain imaginable out of your household carpets. God only knows what they do to your face....?
)
Just hoover it first to get all the dust and crumbs out, then a wipe over with one of these wipes - doors, dash, seats, then one glass wipe for the insides of the windows. I find the face wipes leave glass smeary..although you can use them, then buff up with a bit of crumpled newspaper)Life.

Bring it on! :j0 -
I always use baby wipes - cheap and effective.0

A friend of mine recommended using GT85 because it contains silicon for getting a shine on the dashboard. I know it only as a spray lubricant, I have never tried this tip, but I could see it working well.0

I've always found a mild solution of multi-purpose liquid cleaner ( like Flash liquid, though I always use the cheaper own-brand versions ) works well. If the plastic has a grained pattern then an old toothbrush or soft nail-brush is good for getting all the grime out, then just wipe it with a cloth that's been dampened with the solution ( don't get it too wet else it'll drip all over the place ). Cheap as chips and pretty effective, and leaves a nice smell, depending on what fragrance cleaner you've bought :-)0

Last year, used CIF & Flash spray bleach on the dash of my car. Not sure which one of the 2 products did the damage, but the day after the clear plastic near the Speedo was damaged. Looked like Fog. When I traded the car in they knocked £100 off price of car because of this damage. Somehow it damages/burns/marks the clear plastic.0
