Better than expected Price Drop

Got a nice surprise today.
I have Total Heating Total Control with Hydro. Usually the price increase are higher than the avg as I have elec central heating. I got hold of the new prices yesterday, which come into effect from 30th march, and when i compared annual bill on the old rates to the new rates the drop was 15% against the advertised 9%.

Given I expected it to be lower than 9% I am pleasantly surprised. Going to phone them tomorrow to get my DD dropped from April payment!

A small step in the right direction on price!

Presumably the 15% is on the kWh charges?

Do all the other conditions and charges remain the same?

The 15% is on my over all bill. I worked it out on 365 days standing charge (which hasnt gone down) and the kWh rates

    Hello!

I would be ever so grateful if you could let me know what you think of this form of heating as I am hoping to change over to it from solid fuel.

I have health problems which mean I cannot work so am at home all day and wondered whether it keeps the house warm all day?
Also, how much roughly does it cost per week?

    Thanks a lot!

    Liz
