If your a student and disciplined you can make money out of banks

Basically, you need to go round to every bank that will offer you a student bank account with an interest free overdraft. Once its opened you also need to find a savings account which will pay good interest. Take the money out of the bank account deposit into your savings, BUT DONT USE THE ACCOUNT AND MAKE YOURSELF OVERDRAWN, AND IT DOESNT MEAN THE MONEY IS YOURS TO SPEND, If you dont think you can stop yourself from spending the banks money then dont do it, BECAUSE ONCE THE INTEREST FREE GOES YOU'LL BE STUNG. But if you can then just write the money out each time the limit goes up or dip into the savings if the bank contacts you to tell you the rate is going down and sit back and watch the pennies and pounds fall into your pockets. :T

AND when you graduate it turns into a graduate account and remains interest free for another 3 years, it worked for me. :rotfl:

be warned, if the t&c of the account say you can only have one student account, you may be commiting fraud.

If they find out and some banks do check I know HSBC do then all your accounts will be closed and you will have a bad credit rating.
