Avoid all trans fats in your diets, i.e. hydrogenated fats. I've noticed my weight creep up over the last few months and since cutting out hydrogenated fats out of my diet completely and just using olive oil for cooking my weight has dropped off. I've not been starving myself or anything, just avoid trans fats.
I did a liver cleansing diet to ease allergy symptoms, was on it for eight weeks and I went from just over nine stone 6lbs down to 8 stone 2lbs. I wasn't depriving myself or anything but I guess I was rather thin looking. Also in the morning have a glass of warm water, (filtered if possible) with the juice of a lemon in it, this will help flush out your system. Have this before you eat a thing. Wait about half an hour and then have put some carrots, parsley and a bit of celery through a juicer (beg or borrow one). You could pick one up cheaply. This will help cleanse your liver which is what burns up the fat that you eat but if it is clogged up then the juices you take will clear it out. I did a liver cleanse and lost loads. Just take the warm water and lemon before you eat anything, not cold as it will shock your system. The juices if possible as they will help cleanse your system, and your skin will look great too after a while. If not just cut the trans fats etc, cook with olive oil and have the warm water and lemon etc. Drink plenty water throughout the day but don't drink a lot during/with a meal as it apparently affects the digestive process.
Don't eat past about 7 or 8pm at night. If you must then have fruit like apples or pears. Fruit should be eaten on an empty stomach, if it isn't then it will just ferment in your stomach which will cause gas. Don't eat a heavy carbohydrate meal at night, best to keep carbs for during the day. Just have protein like fish or chicken at night with some vegetables, lighter on your stomach. If you have a slow cooker just make soups and have soup at night time, and a carb based meal during the day which will keep you going throughout. Good Luck with everything. Try getting up an hour early and going out for a jog before you eat anything, this will force your body to burn fat as an energy source but have something to eat soon afterwards. Also try cutting down on carbs out after 3 o'clock and as said before do sit ups this will see results quickly if you stick to it, all tried and tested on myself!0
