Terrible agent house photos

I know the photos that the agents take to advertise the property with are just to give people buying an idea but i can't help but think many of them don't give the properties much justice.
I've just been looking on rightmove and so far seen some truly unhelpful photos. One is half a window frame and the other is a clearly definied wheelie bin shot.
Do you have to accept the agents photos of your property or can you submit your own(or does this mean you have to advertise it yourself?)

The person selling the house should complain if they are not happy as they in some cases are paying alot of money for the EA services.
I think its quite bad of EA sometimes as some houses aren't done any justice by the EA photos. ie as you described or theres just one or two photos.
But in their defence sometimes it must be hard to take pictures of some peoples houses because the house is so bad.If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
There was a thread on here last year about carp EA photographs with some mighty fine examples of the "art"
The problem is that *all* EAs are now photographers with their Argos purchased digital cameras. Vendors should always take them to task over poor quality photos - you are paying them to do a job and that means presenting the property in the best possible way from the brochure onwards.

My agent was quite happy to use my photographs. Obviously they need to be 'representative'. In the end we used a mix of his piccies and mine.
I agree a lot of photos are dreadful. Sometimes I've looked at a property on rightmove and thought that I'd not even go to view it, only to find it on with another agent looking really good. Sometimes it's not the actual quality that's the problem but the subject matter. I really don't need to look at a 4 bed house and see four pictures of four different beds.....I'm not buying the furniture. Lots more exterior pictures are useful both showing the front AND back of the house and the garden and parking areas etc.0
