backup firefox bookmarks and passwords

Just like to know if there is a way of backing your saved data in firefox browser, such as bookmarks, login, passwords etc so there is no way I can lose the data.

Also I will use the data to transfer to another computer and restore all data in the firefox browser

I use Delicious to backup my bookmarks. There's a very good Delicious Firefox add-on.

Yep use Foxmarks myself a great product, and it now does passwords.

I use Roboform myself for passwords and have done for years, great product but not free.

I believe there is now a beta which allows it to integrate with Internet explorer.

What you need are these two Firefox extensions:

FEBE https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2109. This backup up your extensions, passwords, bookmarks etc into individual files.

CLEO http://https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2942. This packages up the individual files into an installable extension.

I used both extensions frequently and I can highly recommend them.
