on a bit more of a serious note when the Sport did this a few years ago there was som much confusion with shopkeepers sometimes selling the paper for the cheaper price and shoppers demanding that it was the cheaper price, that the Sport actually offered to reimburse shopkeepers who had lost out.

Cant believe they are doing the same con tactics again !!

Moral of the story:
Don't but the popular press - anyway, I would like to think that anyone articulate enough to use these boards would be above these papers, as the average reading age of the popular press is just under 9. This is the reading skill of a 9 year old rather than children reading the paper, just the clarify.

I seem to remember reading in the trade press that the Sport say they are not misleading people, as their readers know the cost of the paper is 45p. Ermmm ok!!
I believe they were warned by some trade body which obviously has no legal standing, as they have continued to do this for as long as I can remember.
