People make their own choices in life - she just happens to make more wrong ones than right ones. I don't buy into the idea we should feel sorry for her though - she has had more opportunities than most could dream of.
But isnt that the tragedy of it.
She has not been able to understand what has happened to her or to take control of herself.
Thats the tragedy. Another failuire of the care system, she has not trned out to be a competent adult that can live life, instead a broken woman who relies on the worst sort of exploiters to take care of her. ( ie her mother, this scumbag) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

So your solution is..? Apart from all the other hugely generous benefits of the welfare state system (which we can't afford)... flooding yet more money in to public sector services, to feed grapes in to the mouths of those unable or unwilling to make good lifestyle choices?0 -

No, what should have happened is that she should have been given the right care at the right time.
It stands to scrutiny that in any case, the taxpayer pays the price for dysfunctional parenting, sooner or later. It is better to minimise the damage at an early age - not dragging the abuse and neglect out for many years, until the damage is done.
Dont you worry about her children and what hey might turn out like ?
We are paying for this anyway as she has gone bankrupt. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Am mystified by this thread - one of the posts states she is a 'celebrity'.
I've never heard of her.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

No, what should have happened is that she should have been given the right care at the right time.
Deadwood's Al Swearengen's recount of his time in an orphanage, is how it should be done.
Basic provisions - food/shelter/clothing/education/security - nothing more.
The mother was probably getting a wedge of benefits at the same time, and you want the state to pick up tabs for Kerry and councillors and analysts or whatever else you have in mind, and however other many children the mother may have had - or hundreds of thousands of mothers in similar situations.0 -

That loser of an ex-hubby was her best mates boyfriend and she did the dirty behind her back. If he's squandered the money then maybe it's justice.0

Curiosity.
This is a person about whom a lot of people know an awful lot, and I have no idea who she is, what claim she has to fame or 'celebrity'.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
