Two weeks ago i went to a tesco store, just as you went in there was a gentleman standing under a SKy+ HD for £29.00 banner. i asked him what was the catch, he said to me buy a TV from Tesco today and get Sky+ HD Box for £29.00 so me and the family looked at the TV's and we did buy one (we had been looking for a new tv) showed him the receipt and he filled out a 12 month contract and he said Sky would be in touch in the next couple of days, well we did start getting emails from Sky nextday and one text message to complete the order, now this is where all the problems start i tried to complete the order over the internet that problem,is like i am a new customer, its on the 12 month contract i am a existing customer so i phoned Sky i have spoken to 7 people over the phone i have had TESCO's head office call Sky on my behalf, person number 7 from sky states my problem is that if i dont have multiroom i will have to pay £10.00 per month to Sky the contract i signed is not ticked where it states multiroom, Person number 7 states that her manager says that they cannot override the system. can anybody help please.

Best go back to Tesco and ask for a refund.0

Are you sure that the £10 they want is for multiroom or whether it's the £10 extra that HD costs?
We've just upgraded to HD+ and multiroom and it's costing us an exta £20 per month (£10 for HD and £10 for multiroom)...
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Hi,
Is the £29 the installation charge? How much are going to be paying a month & what are you getting for that? Are you an existing customer?
Your post isn't very easy to read, so I am not sure exactly what the problem is?

£29 is the cost of the box.
are you suggesting you shouldn't be paying a subscription cost every month on top of the purchase price of the box?
the basic cost for sky hd will be approx £26.50 inc the basic tv package and hd (which accounts for £9.50 of the total monthly charge)Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0 -
I don't understand the original post either.
Makes no sense at all so can't offer any advice:rolleyes: :rolleyes:Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0 -
This is because the T&C's of the deal are different if you are an existing subscriber, not so favourable as those for a new subscriber. I guess the OP knows this. I'm sure SKY know this too.0
