Absolutely confused!
I am desperate to reduce my fuel bills - am currently with Powergen.
I telephoned them yesterday and asked if they could tell me the time my economy 7 clicks on, so I can set y applinces to run on the cheap rate - I was absolutely staggered and appalled when they couldn't tell me the exact time, instead I was told to get up in the night and listen for the noise it makes when the metre clicks over! Can you believe that!!!!!!
I am on their EnergyOnline scheme but when I tried to compare costs with u switch.com they are coming up with totally different figured then what I'm being charged. So I tried looking on powergens site - no figures on there either and it won't let me do a quote as I'm an exisiting customer.
This finding a cheaper supplier is an absolute nightmare!

We only know when our Economy 7 rate starts and finishes by the clicking it makes, it's quite a distinct sound and our meter is located in our dining room so it's very easy to hear and i suppose it's the only way of knowing exactly when it clicks on and off.0
