Merc SLK 230 workshop manual

Hi - i'm trying to help my neighbour who's buying a 1999 SLK, he's asked me to find the workshop manual online but eBay's not turning up trumps and there isn't much info on google - anybody know where/if I can find one?

Closest you'll get is a C-Class manual (W202) - SLK is just a C-Class with 2 less doors and a folding roof.

This is not really the sort of car to be working on at home.

its all plastic clips and swear words under the bonnet.

i remember trying to help change a light bulb behind the heater controls of a clk,my god it was hard.

*Some* part numbers and diagrams are in there, however many of the numbers have been superceeded.

It's only a 4 cylinder engine with a supercharger bolted on the side of it, straight foward enough really, and little in the way of plastic clips.

You could try getting a manual for a Chysler Crossfire as it's the same thing underneath. Infact apart from the bonnet badge there aint much difference...
