MCB Fuse keeps poping

Hi
My ring main that looks after all the down stairs plugs keeps poppig off at the main fuse box . It can happen at any time day or night. I gone round downstairs unpluging all the plugs one at a time , but still can not find a reason. It has happen twice in an hour then it will be ok for the rest of the day
what could be causeing the fuse to pop. I have a wylex 32 amp SP plug MCB in my fuse box

    Does the fuse supply any appliances in the kitchen?
    Or a fridge or freezer?

    It could also be the MCB being a tad sensitive, have it changed.

    MCB's don't generally get a 'tad sensetive'

    I would urge you to have it checked out by a compotent electrician.

  • But they do fail, once tripped they don't latch/lock and randomly trip out just do not over look it in your investigations.

    They can, but it's rare. More often than not, it's a fault. Hence, why myself and the bald one suggest getting in a qualified sparky...;)

    It is a new MCB . Also it does run the frige freezer . Would this make it trip
