Lloyds £100 Overdraft Declined !

I have a Lloyds Silver Account (Just recently upgraded from the Classic Account online), and I wanted to apply for a small £100 overdraft for a month, but this was declined (Which surprised me !), I have never been overdrawn and always operated the account in credit, had it now for 5 months and never had a problem, so I was a bit surprised, and as I had successfully upgraded to a Silver Account I thought my credit score was okay, but the reason for it being declined it said (On Screen) was my credit score !.
Do Lloyds not just base things on how you run the account, or do they still credit search ?.
Thanks.

They have a scoring system internally but any new lending facility might be credit scored.
You don't say if you have any other credit problems but I would get an up to date copy of your credit files. If this is clean go back to the back and ask them to appeal the decision for you.0 -

Hi,
Sorry should have said that I had 2 defaults from a few years back, but have got back on my feet and have 3 Credit Cards which are paid in full each month as well as a Mobile Phone Contract, and getting this account (Which I thought I would be declined for) was a bonus.0 -
I think it might have been declined due to your defaults. LTSB are quite funny with their credit checks0
