I am wondering this... Do you think I should hold my nerve and rent, taking my equity with me?
you definitely wont regret it. in 18 months time youll find a whole host of better properties available at a lower price. probably 2 classes above what you can get now.
everyone who bought 12 months ago are kicking themselves now. people who buy today will be kicking themselves in 18 months time.
its not just a case of i can afford it so ill be ok, but a case of if only i held back for a bit, i could have got something far superior for my money.0 -

Sorry. What do you mean?0 -
Just googled and found this...Mid Suffolk... Needham Market
Needham Market Crisis
After heavy flooding, and the recent gas leaks, the property business has been hit for six, said a leading estate agent today. "I had two buyers last month", said David Thingy, "and they both pulled out". Prices are dropping at their fastest in eighteen months of decline, and at the recent county "Buy one, get one to let" fair, none found a buyer. "We are screwed" said David. "My only hope is to pump out some good news on MSE".
Sorry, couldn't paste link for some reason.0 -

Mate...on this board you have to back up stuff with Facts. Links, a bit of 'evidence'. It's no good just posting something anecdotal (unless you say it is ) and them expecting folks to just go along with it.Look. I am not an EA. But as I said to another I can not prove this. So you win
So? Why don't you back up your original post?0 -

OK, point taken. I was venting my frustrations without much fact. However, the thread has been useful for me as I now understand that my experiences are probably isolated.0
