Have you tried contacting any of the debt charities, e.g CCCS or National Debtline? They can be really helpful in steering you in the right direction.

If you have a flat, why are you paying buildings insurance?

Building insurance for a flat comes under "service charge"

Just popping in before I finally go off and watch The Eye on DVD and not spend all night on here again. It's addictive. ;):D

But I noticed your wages were, as you know, low. This is just a suggestion about the prescriptions as I do not know if it would apply. But, several months ago it was mentioned to me because of my low income I could apply for free prescriptions. I never knew that before. I applied and now have an HC2 (think it's that one) which has helped immensely as I have to buy stuff regularly on prescription but now get it free. As I said I didn't know about such things until someone mentioned it to me, so don't know if it would be any help. But it is for anyone on low incomes, struggling financially. Unfortunately, as it was a while ago, I've forgotten the name of the form. But if I take a look at the certificate I have somewhere, I could try and find out.

    Found the page:

May not help but then again I thought I'd get refused but didn't.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Yeah that is dual fuel! TV is high as i'm still in a 12month contract with SKY and same applies to Vodafone.

Travel consists of getting to and from work. Shopping, visiting family esp as my mum is ill and I drop in on her every otherday.

How many months do you have left on each contract?

Calculate that x the cancellation fee, see which comes out as the best deal.
