Not sure, but as the debt is yours I don't see a reason to list someone elses income. Are you married? Or just 'co-habiting?'Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Co-Habiting at the moment. I mean we split everything half way (not so much at the moment) but when I was earning good money we split everything which made it fair.0

Just do your income and spending but put a note on the bottom for the things you share with your OHNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

If the debts are just in your name you shouldnt have to tell them anything about your partner.0

Who are you sending this to?ollie2008uk wrote: »I'm filling out the income and expenditure
You're under NO legal obligation to send an I&E to ANYONE other than a court.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
Yes, that's what I was trying to get at/think about. As it not legally their debt. So, really, it's none of their business.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. I do not think it is necessary to include you partners expenses, unless the two of you are going to pay as much off the debts as possible, just to get rid of them as quickly as possible.
The purpose of the income and expenditure is to ascertain how much money you pay out each month and how much you have left to pay off your debts.
If you share a flat with you partner then you will have bills that are joint bills. Rent/mortgage, food, gas, electric, land line phone and so on.
If you split the cost 50/50, or use to, then put how much you pay for them. Otherwise put your contribution.
For example, if you have a Sky or Virgin Media TV package, you would split the cost between you.
If you had all the sport channels so that you can watch football, that would be an expense that is yours only.
Once you have completed and posted your statement of affairs on this forum, people will look at it and offer advice on how to reduce the amount you are paying out.
I hope this is of some help to you.0 -
I'm being hassled left right and centre from all my creditors and collection agenices. I've been asked by cap-quest to send an I & E. Which suits me as it clearly shows that I have only £7.75 left over every month! (Which does not even include food!). I'm going to be waiting ages to save to go BR!0

Oh, hang on a sec. Just re-read, been reading too many at once you see so not concentrating on just the one each time:I've been asked by cap-quest to send an I & E.
Okay, what ELSE has Capquest asked you to send them? There is a reason I am asking. Is it just the I/E form or anything else for example?Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Its Just an I & E I wrote to them in Jan explaining my situation (well actually to HSBC who passed the debt on) they claimed never to have been given this letter by HSBC. So Capquest asked me to send an I & E. I thought i better as if it all goes to court at least i can show i have co oporated 100% and proved i have absolutly no spare income.0
