The £245 XP3 is the latest in Sonim’s award-winning Xtreme Performance series and is the world’s only waterproof GSM phone. It’s been built to remain fully functional in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C, and even after being submerged in depths of one metre of water for 30 minutes. It has a rugged plastic shell and for those of you who prefer texting to talking, the buttons have been engineered to be able to handle over 500,000 pushes.
There are two Sonim XP3 phones to giveaway to two winners who correctly answer this month’s competition question. To find out more about the prize visit www.sonimXP3.com

    HOW TO ENTER

    Just anwer this simple question:

How many asteroids with a diameter greater than 1 km are there near Earth?

    A 765
    B 657
    C 567

    From current issue (page 26):

"We currently know of 765 near-Earth asteroids larger than 1km in diameter, and 5886 near-Earth asteroids of all sizes. When one adds in the near-Earth comets, one gets a total of 5968 near-Earth objects of all sizes " Don Yeomans, manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object Program Office.

    So answer: 765

    Good luck.

Even if you are not a diver, this is a great competition for those people who tend to go out, get drunk and drop your phone down the loo. Not that I've even done that of course...:o

Also, who had the great job of pushing the buttons 500,000 times to see if they still work? :)
    Thanks to all posters!
