Lloyds Silver Account Upgrade ?

Hi,
I had my Lloyds Classic Account since Last Ocotober, have funded it well, no problems etc, today I noticed on the online banking that I could upgrade to Silver (Which I have now done), my question is when I can I upgrade to Gold as there are a many of the benefits that I would use, in fact do use and it costs me more. I always have £7000 in the account (For the 4% Vantage interest) and pay in around £2000 per month and move anything above the £7000 into my Lloyds Savings.
Thanks.

Lloyds Savings accounts, on the whole, pay very poor interest rates. I'm sure you can do better elsewhere.0 -
I do not have any info about silver account T&Cs, when you signed up did it say there was a minimum tie in period? Like 6 months or 12 months? like a contract? If you can't visit them you can call them to get an answer, they will be open today. Then you will know exactly why it is not letting you upgrade online.Kavanne

Even if answer is no in branch they can appeal the decision for you.0

Sorry to dredge up an earlier thread but appealing is a waste of time. I have been fed so much bullsh*t from LTSB about upgrading my account that I'm tempted to go back to 0% Nationwide. As least I know I'm guaranteed f*ck all there .
They know I'm not going to screw them over (account has never less than £1,000 in it and if it didn't, I'd fund it more), but they don't want my Gold account fee. They'd rather pay me Plus account level interest on classic!!
To anyone who says banks are greedy and want everyones money, then I say that's a load of crap, as all they want to do is pay me!! :rotfl:I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -
I also recently upgraded my account - the option I wanted wasn't available online but when I phoned them up they said there was no problem upgrading to the one I wanted.
After all, you're offering to pay them more money so why would they want to turn you down?!!
I asked them why it wasn't showing as an option on-line and they didn't know why.
It was done the same day when I phoned.
