    i've never seen the 35p bottles at ANY lidl i've been too it's always been 17p :confused:

    just checked the bottle, it's 568ml of malt vinegar....

    i'm in scotland, that may be the difference?

    Before I started coming on this site I would always use malt vinegar instead of white vinegar as I didnt know you were supposed to use white vinegar. I thought any vinegar did the trick. Now I find myself searching high and low for white vinegar when I don't need to :rolleyes:

    i wouldn't advise pouring neat malt vinegar on a white shirt, but if you're putting it in your washing machine during the rinse cycle you shouldn't have any problems... i used it religiously on my dd's cloth nappies (nearly white!) for 2 years with no problems ever
