But she didn't fess to me though did she, she did the most sensible thing! she waited till I was 50 miles away and then got her sister to ring me, so I ranted at her sister! She also knew I wasn't coming back till today so I would have time to calm down...........

Oh and believe me I have done even more stupid things than that, and got caught and the worst thing was I was 36 at the time!:o

    ahhh Smart girl!

    36? do tell!

I can't think of the stupiest thing I have done on a night out.

Once a cab driver said he wouls waive the fee if I performed certain services, I was so drunk that my respose was to laugh, :rotfl: laugh so much that I cried, I distinctly remember thinking it was SUCH a ridiculous idea - why I wouldn't even do that with a boyfriend let a lone some old cab driver and he was so insulted I got out of the cab without paying anything anyway. that was stupidly risky. but funny.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Morning - it's lovely here today, I'm feeling a bit rough still so I'm not sure about running. Maybe just a little tiny one, and then stop if I don't feel right.

I felt a bit crap and tearful last night. New fella was telling me about the type of women he likes - apparently size 16 is the maximum he is attracted to, and as I'm probably a 14/16, I felt a bit rubbish knowing I am at the very outer limits of what he considers attractive (he was saying he thinks I'm really sexy etc, but of course all my brain heard was 'I think you're almost too fat to be my girlfriend'). Yeah, thanks for that. I'm a bit hormonal though, so most things were making me cry yesterday. :o

The 'rents have just rung and are coming over this afternoon, so I suppose I'd better get on with making the house look respectable!

Dump him!!!!!!! NOW! i have a feeling of deja vu.......

Now news on the job front, I'm just crossing my fingers and hope they ring me tomorrow morning or something and say 'sorry about the delay, start next week'. Still thinking about seeing if any of the newsagents need a spare counter person for a couple of weeks. I dunno how easy it would be to do that up here but back home during my first summer of uni, walked into newsagents, asked about a job, was working behind the counter next day.

If you are not back in five mins to say you have done it I will do it for you.....I know where you live...

And why would bunny be cross with you...

I have been out yes Buffy. Have done walk/runs yesterday and Friday. Not far, but further than I thought I'd get. You been out doing any?

The more I think about doing the 10k, the more I think it's not enough time to get there, from where I am now fitness wise. I'm thinking I should be a cheerer this year :o

     who me? out?

not exactly. the tooth thing has been painful and work wise everything hit the fan this week - very big low point.

Its 14 weeks till the race. so enough time to do the 12 week plan.....

am I right its on 21 June - sunday

    am now confused?

It's a very long way, you know. I only realised just how far when I plotted a 10k form here on mapmyrun

Bun posted a very lovely supportive 'well done for my running' on my FB yesterday, but I had to delete it coz she used my MSE name (my boss lurks on here). I sent her a message to explain, but not heard from her :o

It IS enough time to do the 12 week plan, but only if you dont have to repeat a week. I get the feeling I'll have to repeat quite a few :o

Okay buffy - just so you all know how stupid i [STRIKE]am[/STRIKE] was:rotfl:

DD1 and DS used to cycle competitively and we used to belong to a cycling club. Said club organised a weekend away for the kids to do some training in some forest about 100 miles away from home.

Plan was I would drive DS up on Friday night, stop the night in youth hostel type place and then drive home on the Saturday. Some kind soul would bring him home on the Sunday.

So all the adults that were there decided to go the pub.......on bikes....I was so trollied I couldn't ride my bike home, so had to have a backie home, but I kept falling off.......

When I got back to the youth hostel I fell over and woke up the next morning on the top bunk fully dressed with a black eye, and the po faced women I had shared a dorm with looking at me in total disgust....

    It got worse.......

I then went to drive home, only to find that when I had fallen off the bike the night before I had lost the key to the BMW!!

OH had to drive all the way up with the spare key and then all the way back down again.............

he was not a happy bunny.......I am also not allowed to any of his staff parties anymore.......
