ICICI Savings account & Credit Score

I applied for ICICI Savings account on 28/09/2005, as they were taking ages to sort it out, I just gave up , On my Experian Credit file 6 searches were recorded under Previous Search P3-P8 on same date, does it effect my credit score and further credit application? Also I have two searches by some Insurance Company under Application Type: Unrecorded Enquiry, Whats that and does it effect overall score?

I don't know about 6 searches (I think this is not good), but there is no point in worrying about unrecorded enquires: FAQ => What is an Unrecorded Enquiry?

    can I do anything?
FAQ Home > About your credit report >Changing information about credit searches
How do I get duplicate searches removed from my credit report?

We can only remove a search if we are told to do so by the company who made it. If you want to remove a search from your credit report you need to contact the lender directly. If they agree to remove the search they will notify us and we will update your credit report.

In some cases it is possible that an initial search was made further to your application and then an "enquiry" was made by the same company while making further investigations into your application. If this is the case then both entries should be kept on your report.

I've just opened one of these HiSave accounts with ICICI. Can anyone tell me if you receive regular statements through the post with this account, and if so, how often?
