I seem to recall that last time I saw a similar 50% off code it was ONLY valid for the items under the "ROCKBOTTOM" section, and NOT ALL the items under the "Fashion & Footwear" section.

Can you please tell us how you got this code, and if you have received it via email then can you be kind enough to copy & paste the email here.

If I remember correctly, when I bought at 50% last time, it didn't show anywhere online or in the confirmation email, but when the clothes arrived the discount was in place... and the correct amount was debited.

hmmm well ordered one item, will wait for that to come , bit suss that they dont recognise the discount code upon purchase and that you have to agree to the full amount.
also when choosing to pay by credit card it only lists obscure banks yet royal bank of scoland owns most of the main uk banks and is not listed.

will see if it is !!!!!! or not.

Bargaincrazy/CBS is normally OK for website purchases, however:

1) Returns are NOT free and must be posted unless very large (so don't go mad thinking you can return goods at no cost) - if you do return anything, make sure it's by Recorded or Special Delivery, or your refund will never materialise!!!

2) Take original prices with HUGE pinch of salt - remember that this is Kays, Great Universal, Marshall Ward, Abound, Choice, Innovations etc stock clearance website, so the prices relate to VERY overpriced catalogues. Bargaincrazy is part of  ShopDirect Group (https://www.shopdirectgroup.com)

3) Delivery takes upto 2 weeks (in a Redoute kind of way!)

4) The only section of their website which carries LIVE stock levels is the Price Plunge. Anything else COULD be sold out when you order it, as the stock levels are only updated once or twice a day and never at weekends it would appear.

5) Don't bother with their high street shops (UNLESS you are very local to one) - there is a lot of stock in them but the website seems to have the better stuff.

Saying the above, we've bought a dining suite (80% off), bunk bed (90%!!! off), mattresses (£10 each!) clothes, shoes, household goods and other stuff from this website over the past couple of years without MANY problems. Some good bargains CAN be had, particularly on Price Plunge and offers such as this weekend's.
