With the changes of interest rates monthly i am looking to invest with Investic, you need to invest a minimum of 25k and cannot make any withdrawals for 3 months. However i like the idea of not having to keep changing accounts for the best rates.
However before I invest are Investic owned by another larger bank as i'm worried about the 50k FSCS.
I have accounts with Birmingham Midshires, HSBC & Tesco.
Is anyone else saving with Investic and what do you think of their service.
Current interest rate is 3.32% GROSS
Thanks in advance for any advice.

from http://www.investechigh5.co.uk/Investec Bank plc is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). The FSCS protects deposits with the bank up to a total of £50,000 per depositor. Details of the Scheme are available on request.

They are not part of any other bank (except the obvious ones listed here .)
Their service is fine. Friendly, responsive to email or telephone queries, efficient application process etc. Efficient awarding the application incentive.
What else can I say? No internet banking (tho you can view your account on-line) which is a drag, but with 3 months notice required this is an account for longer term saving, not daily activity. Any questions, PM me.0 -
I like them a lot - responsive customer service and a guaranteed good rate (or at lest as good as can be right now.)
Plus they have an awesome referral scheme, whereby if you refer friends or family both you and the person you refer get credited with 50 pounds:

It can really go a long way to offsetting the horrible interest rates we're ll having to deal with.
Speaking of which, PM me if you want to put me down as a referrer...we'll both get 50 pounds0
