Are there any good festivals or things to do in Brighton in August ?

Brighton's great in the summer, just being down on the beach and people watching is great. I think Gay pride is in August, the parades and stuff are amazing to watch even if its not your scene ......

Hi,

There is absolute huge amounts to do in Brighton. The seafront is heaving with people , the bars are all full of beautiful people of all ages and looks !! the whole vibe of the place is something completely enchanting.

There is a Comedy Club which is a gerat night out , especially if in a group. http://www.komedia.co.uk/index.php

let s not forget the Marina Village: Hips of fine restaurants and shops..... you can park your car there for free at the multistorey car park and then take the bus to town..... trust me.... Start with Marina Village to move onto bus No7 and it will take you all the way to the Town centre: 2 bloks from there is the beach and its promenade. ...... have a gook time.... I live in brighton and wouldnt want to leave any where else.... total bliss
