Gardening Leave and Expenses

Help...Please!
I am soon likely to be put on a period of 3 months gardening leave as I move to a competitor of my current employer.
Part of contract of employment includes a full expensed fuel benefit (all my fuel private and business is paid for although I then have to pay tax on it.)
I would have that that I should still been able to claim for petrol expenses as is more than a requirment of my job - its also a big benefit.
I am getting comflicting messages so any help would be great!
Thanks

I would have thought so.
It is your employer's choice not to have you at work for those three months so there is no reason why you should be worse off.0 -
All your T&Cs of employment should continue including full salary and all other benefits. You are still employed - just being asked not to turn up for work.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
