It looks like something heavy has deopped in our hallway onto the laminate flooring...in the middle of it...not near any edges
Anyone know how we can fix this apart from pulling up the whole lot and relaying it with a new piece???
It's a light oak/beech colour!
HELP!!
Thanks

has the wood been compressed or actually scraped out?
If compressed then put a damp tea towel over it and iron it with a steam iron (on steam).

Yes this worked for me on a small dent in the kitchen flooring of our last house. I also tried some of the repair tubes you can buy in B&Q in the different colours. This was only partially successful. Flooring only lasted a couple of years and was enough to out me off laminate for ever!
What about a hall runner if it is very noticable after your best efforts?0 -
if you've got the dent out with steam - or it is just a scratch and not too deep, you can 'fill' the scratch with a repair stick. i got some from liberon - from homebase i think, and it came in 3 colours per pack. sort of a soft wax crayon, rub into scratch, leave to dry then buff off. filled a small hole in my floor where we dropped the iron [of course it landed on the sharpest bit!]also really useful for touching up the edges of wood effect furniture.0
