Housing Benefit Threshold?

Hello all,
I'm after some advice.
I have put my details in the entitledto and it shows i may be entitled to a small (£20 a week) amount of housing benefit.
I have tried searching the internet to find out what the housing benefit department mean by low income as all it says is we may be entitled if we are in a low income.
Does anyone know what the threshold is for this? also is it household income or just my wages?

housing benefit thresholds vary from area to area ie it is higher in london say than in liverpool0 -
The amount of HB payable depends on your income, applicable amounts (effectively what you need to live on under HB legislation) and the local LHA rates.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

It is means tested so it will look at your household income.
There are applicable amounts according to your situation i.e. personal allowance / premiums etc.0 -
Sure they'd take into account your partner/husbands income.0

It's household income. Although some types of income are taken into account, a few are disregarded.
Without knowing a lot more about your income/area it's impossible to say, so all you can really do is apply and see!0
