Car Insurance Quote Not Honoured

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me

Last week I was given a car insurance quote and was told on the phone that the price was guaranteed for 30 days. I have phoned up today as my insurance runs out tomorrow and they are now saying the quote was wrong because of a computer issues that they did not know about. Do I have any rights to have the original quote or is it just tough poo.

    If the mistake is genuine then there is nothing that you can do about it. If you believe it was intentional then you can report them but its more likely that it was an input issue.

    Have a read of the small print about the guaranteed quote.

    Does it show the correct information for you?
