€10,000 needed for June

Am a few days late in posting but as of July 1st there is 7K in the bank as we had hoped..and now we have changed our mind about the car! he he
We are going to see how we get on with the car we have at present as getting any place to take it as a trade in is not very easy .. so new plan hs been hatched!

Moving..well that was the plan anyway so now we are hoping in 12-18 monts to move and for that will need approx 40K for fees, depoisit etc as we are unsure how much we will get for our house and what the market will be like in 2010/2011 so we think 40K and we should be on good footing so scrape the 10K and mutiply by 4..easy peasy right??

so far we are a quater way there as 7K in one account and I have 4K put away for fixed term ( until Feb 2010) so a bit extra can be added for interest on that amount..

We have a few things to get yet and stuff to do -like fill oil tank, get car serviced, so I am hoping to put 6K in a high interest saving account we can access if needed and build on that with any earnings I make from here on in and also to add in the child benefits etc
Will not be easy with 2 little ones under 2 but as we say you gotta aim high and have your plans and that way you can achieve them..

so 30K to go.. sounds loads!
on the saving side thank to littlewoods and their codes we saved a good bit on a few purchases and 2 Christmas pressies are already purchased for less than 10 euro!

so heres to saving and cutting back even more in the next year and hopefully with each update the amount in my sig will grow and grow!

Hope all r well
Not much to report but have found good % account that we can access after the first 6 months so that will be opened as soon as paperwork comes through the post and then the savings big time begins..
We have cut back a bit this week and no shopping done besides milk -I will not even tell you the lunch specials himself has had the last few days! he he
have had some good luck-won a ball from MARS, a Book from Galaxy and today big box came with pogo stick, pen and sports bottle from Jetix as I had to spend the points before they closed that section down! so a few more things to put into the toy box I have upstairs for when kids get older and the many presents that will be needed for relations birthday, chirstmas etc..
Got 2 pairs free tights for the baby and a loads of new clothes from granny as well as an early baby pressie so no clothes to buy for months now!
Have a huge bundle of money off coupons ready for shopping this weekend so looking forward to annoying a few checkout ladies! he he
and picked up 4 food mystery visits for Sat so that is lunch and dessert taken care of for the 2 adults and enough fees to pay for petrol and admission into pool afterwards and a bit left over too..

Will not be updating Sig until I get new savings account sorted as we did spend a bit on essentials while we had the cash there-like oil tank filled for winter, and a few bits and bobs ( cot bed duvet.pillow,cover and 2 more xmas pressies )on Littlewoods while we had a 25% off code to use and it was their sale-so def saved us a good few euro there..

am looking forward to Sept when all settles down and we can seriously get into the save as much as possible and afford the house we will settle in -like one I saw on net yesterday -only half a million! he he he
